Loma alkaa olla lopuillaan. Pentujen hoidon lisäksi ehdimme tehdä pari pitempääkin metsästysreissua. Siitä iso kiitos Pirjolle ja Pasille jotka omien koiriensa ja hevosensa lisäksi hoitivat pennut sekä Riston ja Pojun. Tälläiset ystävät ovat lahja!Pentujen viihdyttäjinä toimivati ansiokkaasti Ansa-bracco sekä Elma-gordoni.

Kanalinnustuksen aloitukseen pakkasimme viisi viikkoiset pennut sekä kolme aikuista koiraa autoon ja suuntasimme ystäviemme mökille Pieksämäelle. Pentujen ensimmäinen automatka kului nukkuessa ja mökillä rantaan levisi varsin virkeä ja vikkelä pentulauma. Rantapuskat ja -kaislikot tutkittiin tarkkaan ja rohkeimmat kahlasivat vedessä. Metsällä ehdittiin myös käymään ja lautasen täytettäkin saatiin. Pennuille annettiin tutkittavaksi lehtokurppa ja se herättikin suurta mielenkiintoa. Kaikki tutkivat lintua tarkasti ja pari pennuista nappasivat sen heti suuhunsa ja kiikuttivat sen muilta turvaan. Pennut tutustuivat reippaasti myös ystäviemme koiriin.

Samalla viikolla lähdimme hyvien ystäviemme kanssa Sallan Naruskaan. Metsästelimme viikon upeissa maisemissa, nautimme hiljaisuudesta ja kiireettömyydestä. Tilanteita saatiin joka koiralle lintujen vähyydestä huolimatta. Kotiin palattuamme vastassa oli villi ja roimasti kasvanut pentujoukko.

Hyvillä mielin luovutimme pennut uusiin koteihinsa viikko sitten. Kaikki ovat innokkaissa metsästävissä kodeissa ja ensimmäiset päivät ovat menneet hyvin. Pennut ovat saaneet kiitosta rohkeudestaan ja reippaudestaan. Kiitos kaikille puheluista sekä viesteistä ja pidetään yhteyttä jatkossakin!

Mielenkiinnolla jäämme odottamaan mitä tulevaisuus tuo tullessaan pennuille omistajineen. Talo tuntuu hiljaiselta ja niin rauhalliselta. Kotiin jäi kasvamaan Jaakon jahtikaveriksi Casku-neiti. Viimeinen lomaviikko käytetään metsästämiseen ja nyt Herttakin pääseen täysillä mukaan.

Our vacation is ending. Along taking care of the puppies we had time to make couple of longer hunting trips. Big thanks to Pirjo and Pasi who took care of the puppies and horses even when they had their own horses and dogs to take care of. These kind of friends are a gift! To fowlhunting startup we packed 5-week-old puppies and tree adult dogs in a car and head up to our friends cottage in Pieksämäki. Puppies first cartravel went sleeping and when we got there all the puppies woke up with bright and nimble. All the beach bushes and a bed of reeds were searched and the bravest ones went to slosh the water. We had time to went hunting and our plates were filled with pray. The puppies were given a woodcock and it interested puppies a lot. All of them were exploring the woodcock and some of them took the bird and carried it safe from others. The puppies were meeting our friends dogs also and it went well.

During the same week we went Salla's Naruska. We were hunting for a week in beautiful landscape and we enjoyed silence and we had no hurry. We had couple of hunting situatinons with every dog luckly even there was little of birds. When we got home the puppies were grown so much bigger!

 With piece of mind we assigned the puppies in their new homes week ago. All of them are now good hunting homes and their first days have went well. The puppies have got thanks from their courage and brisk. Thank you everyone from all the phonecalls and messages, lets keep in touch!

With a big interest we will wait what the future brings to the puppies and their owners. This house feels so empty and quiet now. We keeped one of the puppies named Casku for Jaska's new hunt buddy. This last vacation week is saved for hunting and now Hertta can participate too!
